Art Jones, Man in Isolation (Medium: Metal foil and acrylic paint)

This sculpture was made by pressing metal foil over a wooden sculptural figure made earlier in my artistic career. After forming the figure, color washes of acrylic paint were brushed over the metallic surface and details of the eyes and mouth were added with opaque acrylic paint. The singular figure is intended to express my feelings of isolation and withdrawal during the Coronavirus pandemic.
